Cozy winter outfit!

shirt: Top Shop  |  jeans: AG Jeans  |  shoes: Steve Madden
ring: Jules Smith  |  watch: Daniel Wellington  |  purse: Prada

With the blizzard finally starting to make way I can't help but sit and create the coziest outfit I'd want to be wearing if I was able to leave my house-- with the exception of perhaps swapping the flats out for snow boots! Something about neutral colors always makes any drab chilly day feel much more chic and can also help break up all the white that is covering every square inch around you while not being too loud. This look is simple and elegant while still feeling comfortable and cozy.
Stay safe for all of those who dare to venture out!

Save vs Splurge

We all love fashion, that's no secret... but I think what we love most is the ability to mix and match pieces from high end to affordable collections to create one killer masterpiece! You don't need a million dollars to look like a fashionista, it's more about the hunt to find pieces in similar styles to create that effect. Click on the links below to compare styles and prices between saving and splurging!

Philly getaway!

This past weekend I was able to escape off to Philadelphia with my husband to visit my sister & her boyfriend Ghig for 5 days! It was a much needed trip and we had a lot of fun things lined up. Now I don't know about you but the worst part of any trip for us is always planning out the clothes.  It's not like we can take our entire closet, because let's be honest here- if we could, we would! It's so important to pack the key essentials that can cross over from any style and from day to night. All of these can be styled up in so many different ways making options endless. For this particular trip I checked the forecast and it said it was going to be low 80s! Instantly I knew I needed to grab my spandex, a romper, black hat and a staple sweater incase it got chilly. Check out the pics below to see how I styled up some of these key pieces.

Day time casual while out shopping in Rittenhouse Square. There were a few unexpected rain showers in the morning so on the way out the door I grabbed my favorite hat and threw in a quick side braid to protect my blowout!

I loved this look so much that I carried it into our night time festivities. I grab a pair of black stilettos to dress it up and vamped up my eyeliner for the night ahead. Since my hair was a little crazy from the humidity I left the hat on and let my hair down.

Sissy kept it real casual in all black and her glasses and light makeup. She worked all day so she was exhausted and I definitely guilted her into going out on the town, because after all I don't get to see her as much as I'd like.
